GRADING

Once a year, a grading is held in the UK by the KNN, with classes for Knabstrupper foals, youngstock, mares, geldings and stallions, as well as outcross mares.  The venue alternates depending on the interest expressed in any one year, to be fair to owners wherever they live.

The finer details are still being organised, but it is anticipated that there will be a full programme of grading on the 28th to include Foals, Youngstock, Geldings, Mares, Stallions and Ridden Performance Tests. On the 29th there will be facilities for the grading of colts for the 2yr Limited Breeding Licence, in addition to Foals, Youngstock, Geldings and Mares.

Stables will be available for overnight use the night before, and the day of the grading at both venues.

 

A full statement of contact details for stabling, and health requirements will be posted once the information becomes available, and will also be included in the Schedule/Entry forms when they are finalised.

If you are intending on presenting a horse/pony at the grading, please note that you have to be a full member of the KNN. Details are available here.  Membership normally runs from the start of the calendar year, so the sooner you join, the more benefits you will receive in 2019!
