Knabstrupper Society GB is now able to provide DNA testing within the UK through the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket.

The Knabstrupper Society GB has been democratically formed to provide a central organisation in the UK to promote the Knabstrupper breed and facilitate communications between the Danish Mother Stud Book and the UK.

The Knabstrupper Society GB has been officially recognised as a Daughter Organisation by the Danish Mother Stud Book, the Knabstrupperforeningen for Danmark  (KNN)  and is the only organisation in the UK to have been awarded this status by the KNN. The Knabstrupper Society GB rules which have been drafted by the Board are based on the Mother Stud Book’s rules and are fully approved by the KNN.

The Knabstrupper Society GB has been formed to represent the interests of British Knabstrupper breeders who wish to breed, register and grade their horses under the auspices of the KNN.  If there is anything you would like to know, and cannot find the answer on this website, please contact us, we are more than willing to help with any query, from bloodlines to grading eligibility.....
