Knabstrupper foals in the UK, who are by a KNN graded and licensed stallion, and out of a graded mare, or approved outcrosses (see Rules) are eligible for a KNN passport, provided that the covering has been recorded with the Danish Authorities and the Stallion was on the KNN/KSGB Stallion list (or approved if an outcross) at the time of covering. The Flow Chart below indicates the process:

At this point in time there is no part-bred register with the KNN for horses born outside of Denmark which are not eligible for the KNN Studbook (this is under discussion at the moment).  For horses/ponies in this situation, there are a variety of other UK breed and warmblood societies with which part-breds can be registered.
