Knabstrupper Society GB recognised by the KNN as the Official Daughter Organisation of the KNN in the UK

We are delighted to announce that the KNN, the EU recognised Mother Studbook of the Knabstrupper, has recognised the Knabstrupper Society GB (KSGB) as their daughter organisation, representing the breed here in the UK. KSGB are the first and only UK society recognised by the KNN.

The KSGB was born out of the KNN request that UK breeders and owners should get together and form a democratic association, adhering to the rules and principles on which the KNN is itself based.

Recognition by the KNN as the daughter organisation for the UK confers a number of benefits on our members including:
• Gradings and youngstock assessments organised under the auspices of the KNN.
• Regular news updates about the Knabstrupper and KNN activities in the UK and around the world.
• Usage of the KNN logo by the association and its members, within the rules set down by the KNN and its recognised daughter organisation.

Gradings for Knabstrupper horses and ponies are to be held this autumn under KNN auspices in both the North and South of England, dates and venues will be announced shortly. Owners presenting horses for grading must be full members of either the KNN or the KSGB.

Duncan Gamble.
Chairman.
